In an effort to reduce development time; and eliminate any potential concerns as to where and how labor resources were being expended; (and allowing for quicker "change order" approvals within each clients organization;) I developed a web based (HTML) reporting system. This process was implemented before most groups were familiar with SharePoint services. Or such services were typically restricted to intranet / internal access only. This type of site allowed any team member participating in the approval or development process to post and view all stages of the project.

This system was very helpful, given the fact the clients core team officed 45 miles from our production office. We eliminated the need over the course of several months to conduct all but two face-to-face meetings. The client originally estimated 10 face-to-face meetings would be required. I reduced this expense in both time and money by a considerable amount.

All previous incremental deliveries for the client are accessible on the lower part of each site.

In addition to being able to view all previous version of the Database, the comments responsible for any changes made are available from each team member.
