All relevant vector and raster datasets produced between 1994 and '99 deemed reusable from the Virtual Vision Productions studio archives were retrieved and converted to PC compatible libraries. Once further refined, manipulated and expanded to reflect any new development trends and predicted growth within the Frisco area were completed, new simulations were generated.
Below are numerous video exhibits produced in 2002, demonstrating UNIX based 3D Frisco conversions & upgraded PC modeling efforts, 4 years after the intial Frisco simulations results These first two videos feature datasets used to create a Real-time navigable database, utilizing gaming synonymous LODs (level of details) to cope with graphic hardware bottle necks of the day.

The video clip below simply features still-slides of the Simulation Dataset exhibited in the full-motion example above.

Once it was clear important landmark developments such as the Dr. Pepper Ballpark were underway, we produced a Pro-Bono marketing piece in late 2002. Given the emergence of HDTV standards, I experimented with High-Definition TV quality renderings and full-motion 720p output. However, these new examples of quality 3D models, output standards and production services weren't affectively marketed to The Frisco Economic Development Corporation for another 2-1/2 years, but these early, ahead of their time results can still be appriciated in the two early videos exhibits below.

(Rendering times required to produce 720p resolutions were so demanding for the, 2001 single-core processors of the day, only short Pro-Bono clips were fesible.) The video clip below simply features still-slides of the Simulation Dataset exhibited in the short HDTV example above.

Incredibly, a few more years and one more stage of development, additions, contracts, and scripting would occur before a fully developed state-of-the-art Frisco Simulation was put before the public again.
** The final evolution and ultimate results can be seen in this last set of 3D Frisco Development web pages

Each video is exhibited strictly as an Addendum to my Professional Resume. It is intended as an educational reference, and is not to be considered or utilized for financial gain or competitive services where related to the types of product and services demonstrated within the exhibit. Each urban simulation demonstrated represents the efforts of many individuals; of which I was responsible for hiring, directing and managing. Each video production was produced under my direction and any and all contracts written pertaining to Copyrights, I personally authored and entered agreements respective to each individual clients needs. The technical techniques and workflows utilized to create and manage these rare productions were developed by me over the course of an exceptional 13 year career in 3D computer graphics, simulation and product design.
